Cisco Catalyst Command

This is regarding Catalyst9500-48Y-4C-A
Is the below command valid with respect to Access & trunk port configuration ?

interface TwentyFiveGigE1/0/48

description ### ABCD ###

switchport access vlan 700

switchport mode trunk

rep segment 1 edge no-neighbor primary

storm-control broadcast level 10.00 5.00

storm-control multicast level 10.00 5.00

storm-control action shutdown

Hello @RS19 

The port is Trunk! As you see the "switchport mode" command is 'Trunk', not 'Access'.

So, all the commands related trunk will be taken in consideration, The access vlan will be used only in case of switching from trunk to access.

You can check the port behavior:

# show interface TwentyFiveGigE1/0/48 switchport
