HI, new to DNAC / Catalyst Centre, I see that there is a release 2.3.7.6-70319 available to install.

Having read through the release notes couple times, I feel I am missing something, can anyone kindly advise if this update is either critical or recommended ?

thank you in advance.

2.3.7.7 should not have any features being pushed. It will contain fixes that were not able to be shipped out with 2.3.7.6. Most of the fixes should pertain to wireless provisioning.

I believe it will depend on which version you are currently. If you are in the main release 2.3.7 at least, it should not be critical for you. If you are in a different release, then it could be and you need to check the upgrade path first.

thank you for replying. it is currently on version 2.3.5.6-70143.

The update is not critical, but it does feature a lot of new stuff. So I would say it is recommended. Also a new GUI and rebranding from DNA to Catalyst Center is in this version.

2.3.7.6 is not the recommended release and will not be. If you are fine upgrading to a version that is not the recommended release, then go ahead. However, if you have guidelines that require the release to be marked as recommended first, then you will have to wait for 2.3.7.7 which should be out around the end of next month.

Unless you are explicitly waiting for defect fixes or the availability of a feature that is not in 2.3.5.6, then I would wait.

HI, thank you for your reply. Do you know what features / fixes 2.3.7.7 will contain ?
