Connecting DNA Center Appliance to Enterprise Network

We are in the process of deploying our DNA Center Appliance. Most of the documentation suggests connecting the appliance to the enterprise network via the 10Gbps enterprise port, however, I wanted to know if this can be achieved through either of the 1Gbps ports and if so, what are the benefits and disadvantages/limitations of going this route?

Any advice would be much appreciated. I am particularly interested to know if anyone has tried connecting the appliance to their network via the 1Gbps ports.

Yes, this can be done however it is not necessarily advised.
