CSCup46714 - "logging source-interface" doesn't work

I am experiencing an issue related to the Cisco bug CSCup46714, where the logging source-interface command does not work as expected on my Cisco device.

Device Model: C4500 connect in VSS.

Current Firmware Version: 3.11.10

I would like to know if there are any further recommended workarounds or if anyone has successfully upgraded to a version that resolves this bug. Additionally, any insights into similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

   Since you're running on a now legacy platform, I would recommend first try the workaround of completely removing syslog configuration and add it again, see if it fixes it. If yes, and you don't have any other reason to upgrade. stick with current version; if no, upgrade to the latest recommended and supported version and see if it's fixed.
