Hi,
I cant find a way through the API to reserve a slice of a global pool in the DNA API 1.3.3 documentation - am i missing something here, or do i have to go to 2.x to get that in the SDK? I see other people have had the same problem and solved it with postman and manually doing it, but i would prefer to do it through the SDK. Upgrade or bust?

I believe what you are looking for is this: Overview - Cisco DNA Center Platform - Document - Cisco DevNet
Which is supported with 2.2.2 APIs so you would need to upgrade.

I don't have a 1.3.3 test bed handy, so I can't really check but if you go to the APIs page, do you see a 'Create Global Pool' API? It should be '/global-pool'. If not, then this most likely came in 2.1.x. You don't need to go to 2.2.2 for this.
What came in 2.2.2.x was the ability to reserve site specific pools as well (from a global pool).
Cheers,
Aninda
