Hi Mike,

I put the 4.0.4n on my CIMC, it works (one hour at all, starting the services from DNAC take some time to start)

I used the https://unofficialaciguide.com/2018/08/25/upgrading-the-cimc-for-your-apics/ , helpfull link

My contractor tell me the release 2.2.3.4  is now ready for production.

Next week I will do:

CIMC ->4.1.1h
DNAC ->2.2.3.4

remark:

I thougth the CIMC act like the iDrac from Dell (some year ago), but I saw  reboot from DNAC ... all worked well

Regards

Daniel

A couple of things that should help:

-You can verify the type of chassis/generation via: $ sudo cat /sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/product_name
Should return something like this: DN2-HW-APL

-Then take a peek at this (Supported Firmware section): Release Notes for Cisco DNA Center, Release 2.2.3.x - Cisco

-Lastly, I would recommend working with TAC to ensure things are good to go.

Hi Mike,

thanks for your post

so we have an 44-core promotional appliance: DN2-HW-APL-U

it should support the version 4.1(h) but saddly not mentionned by the document.

may be it will be safer to validate with the TAC

Best regards

Daniel
