I had a 9200L-48 fail at a remote site. Cisco shipped an exact replacement to the site.
The RMA workflow failed when trying to replace the switch.
1. I marked the failed switch to be replaced.
2. I entered the new serial number as the replacement switch "add device".
- I did this while the field engineer was installing it.
3. Now or schedule
- I scheduled it for 5 minutes from that point in time.
4. Tech did not have the switch online in the 5 minutes and the workflow failed.
5. The switch finally booted and registered with PNP in DNA Center as expected.
6. Redid the replacement workflow
- New switch was not listed as an option, but it showed up under PNP.
- When I "add Device", it said that serial number was a duplicate.
- There was no option to use that serial number
7. Configured the switch manually via console
- Deleted failed switch from DNA Center
- Discovered new switch in DNA Center.
After the scheduled time came and went, I could not redo the workflow. How could I have recovered from this?

what is the DNAC version, what was the Cat 9200 shipped version for RMA?
Hope the new replaced device connected same ports (where the faulty device replacing ?)

DNAC: 2.2.3.3
New switch was 12.9.
Same uplink ports.
I had to do the replacement manually via CLI on the console. DNAC was not helpful. This workflow needs improvement.
This is twice now that I tried to use this. The first time the 3650 switch came in with code that was to old to support PNP.
