Hello All,
I’m pretty new to Network Engineering and very new to Cisco products.
My employer uses Cisco DNA Center but we don’t use it to its fullest capacity.
I’m currently trying to generate a report but I want to know if there is a way to generate a report that tells me a list of all devices running IOS-XE.
I’ve looked around a bit on the application under the reports tab, but I can’t seem to find a way to do it. Does anyone know if it’s possible?
Thanks in advance.

go to report Templates and run SWIM (software image management) report in CSV then you can use filter to extract what you need.

Sometimes the Reports may not be the best solution.
- Access the Cisco Catalyst Center Admin UI
- Go to Provision / Inventory Page
- Change your "Focus" to Inventory
- Click on the Filter Devices Search Bar
- Select Advanced Filters
- Scroll down to "Software Image"
- Use Contains IOSXE
- Click "Apply"
- You should see the filter "softwareImage: (*IOSXE*)"
- Click "Export"
- The Catalyst Center will export a .CSV file with your IOSXE devices
