Have not had success with applying DNAC templates to switches

I have been testing applying on-boarding templates to switches during the LAN automation process with no luck. I have also tried Day N templates after the device has been provisioned with no luck.  I am not sure if this functionality is there yet or if it is something I am doing wrong.

For onboarding templates I have created an onboarding template for the device type, applied it to a network profile, and assigned it to my site.  I then run LAN automation and the template does not get applied to the switch. I have also then created N day templates and attempt to apply them but I do not even see those templates when I try to add them to a network profile so I am unable to assign it to the site. What am I missing when it comes to LAN automation and templates?

Lan Automation is for setting up your fabric underlay for Software Defined Access. All the config is built-in, so it doesn't need templates. To make use of onboarding templates, you need to claim a device in the PnP menu under Provision (Devices drop down). To use Day-N templates, use the Provision Action in the Inventory page. This assumes you have the templates assigned to a Network Profile and that profile assigned to a site.
