Hello,
our Cisco SE has told us some time ago that you can mix the new DNA Catalyst Center appliance (DN3-HW) with virtual appliances in the same cluster. Unfortunetely, I'm not able to find any official Cisco documentation about it and I doubt this is really true. Does anyone here know if this is possible to build a cluster with one physical appliance and two virtuals?
Thank you Alex

You can not mix hardware and virtual in cluster, they all to be same model

- No official document found yet , but I am convinced this won't work; because HW clustering uses stuff like physical heartbeats for checks, which are incompatible with virtual appliances included too,

You cannot form a Catalyst Center cluster between on-prem and cloud (virtual) versions.
An on-prem HA cluster requires 3 physical appliances.
HA on cloud (virtual) is done with the tools provided by ESXi or AWS.
