according to the release notes PnP for C9800 WLCs with DNA-Center is not supported yet

we tried it though, and apparently the WLC is appearing as unclaimed device, and has a template/form with certain variables to fill out. The day0 template used cannot be found though in the template editor, also there is no day0 template setting in wireless network profile/onboarding template. I guess this is due to no official support for the WLC.
Is there any details about official support known? How is it possible the WLC is still appearing as unclaimed device? Is it recognized as switch?
