Hello,
I wanted to share the following problem I had while working with a customer:
After troubleshooting with TAC, we found that Catalyst Center cannot consume a virtual account that is already being consumed by another system, in our case on-Prem server
To workaround the situation, we needed to create a new virtual account under smart license portal.
Transfer the DNAC license to the new virtual account
Attempt the synchronization again using this new virtual account. => This resolved the problem
This unfortunately is not documented in Catalyst Center documentation. TAC sent the following bug ID: CSCwn09887, but information is not very clear. Therefore I wanted to clarify.
Hope this is useful to someone running into the same problem. Hoping to save you some hours/ minutes of troubleshooting.
Cheers,
Aaron

I'm also experiencing the same thing, my catalsyt center is using version 2.3.7.6 and when checking the smart licensing status the same error appears
is there an article on how to transfer licenses to a new virtual account?
