Temporarily remove or disable Cisco DNA

Hey guys.

We have DNAC in our environment, but due to some internal company policies we need to remove the appliance from our network or temporarily disable it.

I didn't find documentation about it and maybe I won't.

I would like to know what impacts we can have with this action on our network.

You can shut down Cisco DNA Center. Shutting Cisco DNA Center will not impact any of the network devices that are currently being managed by Cisco DNA Center in the inventory. However, if your network devices are configured to send assurance data to Cisco DNA Center. I would recommend deleting the devices from the Cisco DNA Center inventory with the 'config clean-up' option selected so that Cisco DNA Center removes the assurance configuration on the network devices before they are deleted from the inventory. You can then shut down Cisco DNA Center (achievable remotely through CIMC) and not have to worry about your network devices still attempting to send SNMP trap and syslog data to Cisco DNA Center.

We've already shut down Cisco DNAC.

I believe that now I will have to access each CLI/GUI device and remove the settings that are pointing to the DNAC, correct?

Example:

no snmp-server host <ip address DNAC>
no logging host <ip address DNAC>
