What happens when an Access Point change IP address?

Hi,

I would like to validate what is the expected behavior of Cisco DNAC when an AP that receives an IP address via DHCP changes to a new IP address?
Note: DNAC added AP to inventory after I discovered and provisioned the WLC.

DNAC already have the information about the device , name, Serial number , so it automatically detect the AP.

AP talks to the WLC.

WLC talks to DNAC via telemetry.

When the AP changes IP address the AP "phones home" to the WLC.   The WLC then tells DNAC the new IP address of the AP.
