CSR Bootstrap Options

Is Cisco going to add more bootstrap options for the CSR?  It seems a bit lacking.  It would be nice to have more flexibility with deploying the CSR via CloudFormation.

Are there specific options you are looking for?

- Ability to specify a config file to load maybe located on S3?

- Run some AWS API commands? Like update route table?

- Gather the required info to prepopulate EEM with ENI, RTB, CIDR and region?

I believe there will be more after some additional experience with CSR.

I second this. I did get some helpful information from a post I did requesting the ability to load options. https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12700076/restapi-and-automated-deployment-support

The ability to grab it from an s3 would be awesome. As it stands our deployment strategy requires quite the work around in order to convert a running-config to a user-data-001="" form. This is far from ideal. Even when you enable the restapi its still not ideal for many deployments.
