Hello, we want to configure raid in one of our cisco hx220c m5 nodes, however, the default raid controller(hx-sas-m5) doesn't support the raid. Therefore, it would be very helpful if anyone could suggest to me a raid controller that will be supported by the server.

The UCS C220 M5 spec sheet at https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-c-series-rack-servers/c220m5-sff-specsheet.pdf will show your options, primarily (UCSC-RAID-M5) which would replace the sas-m5 in it's slot.
Please be aware, those are sold as appliances, and if you are retasking the server, you may have complications with contracts, SR routing for support, etc.

The "C" series is part of the overall UCS series. HX220 M5 is built from a C220 M5.

I want to say, will a raid controller module for UCS C220 M5 work for a hyperflex server of the same series say, hx220c m5? thnx

Yes.
So a pid like "UCSC-RAID-M5" that is a Cisco 12G SAS RAID Controller with 2GB FBWC will work.
This would displace the existing SAS HBA controller in there now.
