Hi all,
So I have a stack of 2 x Catalyst 9300 and 2 x C9300-DNA-E-48= licenses.
I'm a bit confused on how to activate these licenses. Everything clear with the old ones, but the new versions, are just RTU ?
Thanks,
N
Hi,
Please follow the below snippet, taken from this url:
Licensing and ordering
To enable the Cisco DNA Center features listed in Tables 1 and 3, you will need one Cisco DNA Essentials or Cisco DNA Advantage license for each network device. Both of these licenses are available for purchase with Cisco ONE™ Software or a la carte. Please contact your Cisco sales representative for the Cisco DNA Center Ordering Guide.
See how Cisco ONE makes software buying simple: Cisco One Software.

Thank you, but this is not what I was looking for.
Yes its RTU, you will configure following to accept RTU from CLI
license right-to-use activate network-essentials all acceptEULA
license right-to-use activate addon dna-essentials subscription all acceptEULA
since you have essential license, to see what you can all you can do with essential licenses (provided you have DNAC as well), see slide 25 here
to verify licenses you can run command
show license right-to-use usage
you will need a reload for the license to take effect.

I thought that would be all but wasn't sure. Will bring it live in the next couple of days and confirm.
Cheers,
N
Great, have a good one.
