Adding VMs to CML.

Hello Guys!
Hope you're all doing great.
I recently purchased CML2 and I updated it and then I couldn't connect to the cockpit server at all. I had to reinstall the CML2. But now I'm facing other problems.
It's been a week since I've been trying to add VMs like windows 10 and server 2019. First I convert the VDI or the VMDK file to QCOW2 and upload it to CML. Second, I create a node definition but when I want to create the Image definition using the QCOW2  file, I get the error "Unable to create Image Definition". Magically the Image Definition is still created but the VM won't boot completely. When I click on "Delete the Image Definition" I get an error but when I click on it for the 2nd time it deletes it. I'll really appreciate your help in this case. @Matt Saunders @Karlo Bobiles - Cisco

Thanks in advance.

I have done that before and I follow all those steps but unfortunately it didn't help.

Yes I already have the node definition for server 2019 from the GitHub link you mentioned. For windows 10 I used the the David Bombal's approach. Still neither Server 2019 nor windows 10 works. Yes I converted the image using QEMU as you mentioned.

just want to confirm are you able to start any other images which come part of CML 2 ?

copy the image using SCP - if the GUI fails.

Note can you explain what kind of compute and space you have for CML2

Look at the URL :  issue 1

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Yes, I'm able to start all other nodes completely. And yes I use SCP for copying the files to CML.

I'm using AMD Ryzen 7 5800, 8 cores (16 Threads). 1TB HDD and 500GB SSD. I allocated 250 GB space for CML with 8 vCPUs.

Lemme know if you wanted to Remote control my PC and have a look at it yourself. I'll be more than happy to get this issue fixed.
