ASAv crashes on boot - bootloop

Hi,

I am not able to use ASAv in CML-P v.2.0 on my Vmware-Workstation. No problem with switches and routers.

Any idea how to get this working?

How do we get support from Cisco for this product?

Not that I aware of any issue reported, I have tested myself CML2.0

 

can you post exactly errors you see on screen to understand the issue of why rebooting accruing?

 

also, give more information about your compute information allocated to CML

Hi, and thank you for your help.

I have posted the full log above in the second message.
The environment runs on a AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1055T Processor, latest VM Workstation, Win2012SRV, 8GB and 4 Cores assigned to the vm-guest.

As said I have no problems with switches or routers.

for now, i do not see any logs - can you re-check post again if missed here.

Just clarify how many nodes already running in CML.  (what is the outcome after stopping all devices, and run only ASAv ?)

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

I have only one lab running with just one note in this case (ASAv). In this lab I have added also 2 routers, if I launch them together with the ASAv they will boot up fine, ASAv loops. If I delete them having only the ASAv left I have the same result.

Sorry to necro an old one if this is already fixed for you. I have noticed the same thing on my test ASAv, and it seems to have to do with the virtual interfaces on vmware workstation, at least i'm seeing the crash once the boot sequence arrives at detecting the network interfaces.
