I can never save my CML labs even when I download the .yaml file. This is annoying as I have to keep restarting my labs from one place, anytime I try and import a configuration I downloaded, nothing saves. Why is this happening and how can this be resolved?

On the device/node if you write the config, that will be saved, then you can export the Lab.

it is tricky but you can find solution I shared on CLN, cisco learning network, under CML forum posts
