Cisco CML IOSvl2 not booting

I have installed the CML on ESXi 6.7 and IOSvl2 does boot however gets stuck at the screen below.

I have plenty of CPU  and 128Gb of ram . does anyone have any suggestions? 

I have expose hardware assisted virtualisation on the guest vm for CML enabled

anything else works? other images are ok? or just that one?  CLN has dedicated CML sub-forum group; you should go there;

all else seems to work yep, when I click on the link, there is no option to start a new topic there
