Hello Community,
According to the CML 2.7.2 Installation Guide ESXi 6.5 and later are supported hypervisors. I am running ESXi 6.5 on a Gen 7 Proliant DL380. Every single time I try to create the CML 2.7.2 VM from the CML 2.7.2 .ova I get two specific errors as you can see in the screenshot: 1. A required disk image is missing (this is referring to the CML 2.7.2 REFPLAT .iso which is uploaded and available in the datastore in which CML will be installed and 2. An unhandled exception issue with the browser which makes no sense to me. Can anyone tell me what might be going on here? I have tried Safari, Chrome, and DuckDuckGo and get the same error with each one. I don't understand how this could be a browser issue but I digress. Thanks in advance for any assistance/insight anyone may have!

I never seen this issue before.
Suggest to try 2.8 they made it simple, you can load images later :

Hi @AntDPre We have seen this issue from customer in some rare cases in the ESXi. As said above, you can try deploying 2.8 ova file, try this in a different latest version browser. Make sure that ova file MDA checksum and file size matches post download.
If you're still facing this issue with 2.8 ova file, then there is a workaround. You can deploy CML as ISO file. First download 2.7.2 or 2.8 ISO file from Software download site and upload it to the Datastore. Then go to your VM host, Right click an click "create a new virtual machine" instead of Deploy OVF template option. Finish configuring it and mount the CML ISO file as CD/DVD.
Once you power on the VM, the installation will take little more time than the usual ova deployment. Then, it will take you to initial configuration wizard to finish CML setup. For copying refplat ISO to CML, you can use the steps from our documentation link below to upload the iso file via SCP. Refer after step-4.
