repeating to restart IOSvL2 on CML

This is first time to post.

I have a trouble on CML.
My CML environment is created by virtual machine on KVM.
I can run cat8000v, CSR1000v, etc. But only IOSvL2 can't run on CML.

It's repeating to restart.

I atached booting messages on IOSvL2 console.

Though there are no support for personal version, I would like to know if there are any hints that will lead to a solution.

I the logs does not show enough information what is wrong. (other than this message -error: Can't get controller info..)

as per that message shows something wrong installation or could be a resource issue. what version of CML ? how is your environment and computing resources?

can you turn off all nodes and only run IOSvL2 node

Thank you for replying.

Even if when it turns off other nodes, it happens same trouble.
IOSvL2 is repeating to restart.
But , it looks that resource bar on CML dashboard is shown almost resources are not used.

CPU is 2-4%, memory usage is 3-4%, and disk is used 5%.

My environment is follow.

OS: Fedora 35

what is CML version 2.4.1 ? 2.4.1 works for me as expected runnings  VM under exsi.

I found strange message in libvirt daemon's log on CML which is stored in /var/log/libvirtd/qemu/UUID.log.
See the picture I attach. Sorry I'm not used well virl2-sshd now. Do you know what happend?

ESXi is good products, but it's unfavorable that's not be able to create VM with over 9 vcpus.

I think it's more economically friendly to use KVM than VMWare vSphere for learner.

what is CML version 2.4.1 ?

suggest to re-install again using the below document and check the system requirements.

Sorry, it was confusing of saying "CML version 2.4.1".

Correctly, I used to install CML by "cml2_2.4.1-34_amd64-13.iso".

I found patterns of rebooting when sysadmin logged on to console.

It seems strange.

I will try to re-install CML on Thursday, because it's holiday.

this time i would advise to read the installation guide and requirement and test it

I never had any issue with requirements meeting all the time expected results.

i do run CML 2.4.1work as expected.

I resolved this problem.

Today after job, I re-create vm on kvm with changing selection of a firmware setting to "OVMF_CODE.fd".
Last night, It was "OVMF_CODE.secboot.fd".
It seems this settings that caused IOSvL2 to repeat to restart.

I had made a mistake that selection of firmware.

Glad you able to resolve the issue. CML is good product i liked for labbing. i do use other tools, can we mark this as resolved now.
