Hi all,

I have an issues that Cisco cant provide the answer to.

The problem is that i have several systems with 3rd party control system (crestron) and on SX20 it is stay connected but on the SX10 the codec stop sending responce.

The solution is:

Crestron processor connected via Telnet to SX10 or SX20

The processor comunicate via Telnet and register Peripherals with the

"xcommand peripherals connect Type:"touchpanel" Name:"TCCC4 Verion 4.5" ID:"00:10:7f:6d:39:da" NetworkAddress:"10.192.193.53" this is sent every 6000ms to the codec

At some point the SX10 is connected but not sending responce back.

SX20 there is no issues its always receiving a responce

  • Software verison is the same CE9.14
  • config is the same
  • No network issues between the processor and codec
  • Same processor is connected to SX10 and SX20 and the result is the same SX20 no problem, SX10 working a day and then no RX data received from codec

SX10 after a day

As far as I can tell, this question is completely unrelated to the Cisco Proximity app...

If you are using USB to Serial between Crestron and SX20 please noted that following bug may effected(event it was CE version - Cisco TAC said BU didn't fix the issues from TC 7.3.x No release planned to fix this bug

https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvb38947/?rfs=iqvred

(I am asking local team to check about that hope they will fix it since the bug was discovered before the SX20 SW EOL)
