Proximity SX80 for windows PC

Proximity is not working for WIndows PC.Even though its working for iphone.

I suspect the issue could be with microphone.How to troubleshoot this?

Have you read the troubleshooting guide?

It would be very nice to know a bit more about what software versions you are running and your PC model / Windows version. The issue might as well be with the microphone as you say, and you should turn off any microhphone effects. 

Also try opening the Proximity GUI window when you are attempting to pair.

windows version is windows 7.

Microphone effect is turned off as well.

Actually, it's intermittently working .

There is some good information in the Troubleshooting Guide by mohm.

But a few quick things to check:

  • Is the microphone enabled on your Windows device?
  • Is the device positioned in the room where it can "hear' the sound (ie not in a cupboard, or behind the screen, or elsewhere the ultrasound cannot reach)?
  • Is the windows device on a network that can access the endpoint via https?
  • Do you have microphone effects disabled on your Windows device?
  • Are you running the latest version of Proximity?
