Is the specification for the pairing signal available / going to be published? To clarify, this is not the pairing or auth process, just the properties of the audio signal itself so that it can be utilised to provide a micro-location service for other tools (room control interfaces etc).
It would be nice to re-purpose this rather than placing bluetooth beacons (which travel through walls) or introducing a competing hf audio signal to the space.
Sorry for not replying to your inquiry earlier. There have been discussions internally on whether or not we could / should release the specifications, or even open source the ultrasound code. As things stand, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting - there are no immediate plans for releasing neither specification nor source code.
