SX20 with Crestron Soundbar, standby proximity issue

Customer has SX20 with a Crestron soundbar connected.

When the SX20 is in standby the soundbar also goes in standby after a while.

When activating the SX20 with Proximity, the screen and codec come alive but the soundbar stays in standby.

Is there a way to send a audio signal to the soundbar when the codec goes from standby to active mode?

I would expect the SX20 starts to send the ultrasound signal when Proximity is enabled when it becomes active?

rgds, Geert.

Thanks for the input.

I already tried this. Behaviour is the same.

The soundbar only uses analogue input L+R. The TV also does not plays a sound when it wakes up.

The standby function on the soundbar cannot be disabled and Crestron does not have a workaround.

I've launched an enhancement request with our Cisco Account team to get this function into the SX range codecs.

Yeah, CEC only works when you're using HDMI.  I've worked with some soundbars in the past with only analog inputs, and typically they'll go into standby, and when the codec goes into a call or audio from a connected laptop is being sent to it, it would come out of standby.

What is the model of the soundbar?
