Using proximity to initiate a call on device with DND fails

Hello,

I assume my request might lead to works as designed, but maybe provides an idea on improving proximity.

Setup:

DeskPro is registered to contolHub and with Webex I'm connected to the DeskPro. If I know set DND this is pushed to the DeskPro and the device is in DND.

Problem:

At this point I'm unable to place a call as initiating the call a callleg should be created towards the DeskPro as the device is in DND the setup fails. The calling window terminates and we see a missed call on the DeskPro.

Workaround:

Unset DND before placing a call.

Hope you can help in confirming if this is works as designed and if it makes sense to place a feature request for a better enduser experience.

Thanks,

Max

Hi mneergaa,

thanks for your reply and sorry for late response, meanwhile I had a colleague being more engaged with Cisco on the matter basically getting the problem confirmed and a feature request was raised to address this issue. In case you're interested I recommend follow-up here:

Was this using the Cisco Proximity app (https://proximity.cisco.com?) Because there, calls that are placed should be outgoing from the desk pro, not incoming from the cloud.
