I/m designing a system that has the WebEx share devices in the system, the head head rack will be in the IDF and the plan would be to connect to wireless share to the switcher, question is does the WebEx share need to be in the same room where the presentation will take place?

Believe it needs to be for the automatic pairing, however think you can also manually pair by searching for the device and entering in the code that comes up on the display.

We are currently investigating using a few in an open plan space. May also look at placing close to where people are sitting / turning down the pairing volume as well.
