I have heard that other models capable of SD-WAN (C1K, ISR series, etc.) have a different license concept because they are H/W-based, unlike the 8K series.
However, I understand that now C1K and ISR series also need to purchase a DNA License, but I wonder if the fact that the license system is different because it is based on the above H/W is a story from before the DNA License was released.
