Upgraded the firmware for ASR 1001 x from 15.2 to 16.4 and also upgraded the Rommon.

After the reload, the router didn't come up.

After 30 minutes, Completely turned off the router and then started it.

still the router didn't start, tried to connect through the console cable using ssh but couldn't connect.

what are the steps that i need to do to make the router up and running.

I have backed the config!

Hello All,

I booted with a different image, after the reboot the router couldn't find the image and deleted all the table contents.

Because of this the old image on the flash also was deleted.

I rebooted with a new image with USB physically and everything resolved.

Post the entire bootup process so we can determine what is going on.

Hello Leo,

We have a server that has the Com connection to the router!

I remoted into the server and ssh into the router using putty!

After clicking the open in putty , nothing happened ! no error messages pops up!

Now how can i connect to the router , or does turning on and off the router will reboot the router?

I believe that you do not meet the minimum ROMMON requirement. You are showing 15.2.1r.s and I believe you need at least 15.4.2r.s
