Hi,

I have launched FMC and FTD(NGFWv) from aws marketplace and using evaluation license for 90 days. Raised a case regarding the license in NGFW. The support told that NGFWv is included with license and it costs for hourly basis(2.16$ EC2/hr). Can you clarify about the detail what license does NGFWv is included with?. Also clarify about what happens if evaluation license gets over after 90 days?. Is that we need to puchase license for NGFW again ?

If you buying the Service from  AWS, this included all your cost per hour basis.(this include VM and you need to add BYOL)

For your information I have launched cisco firepower NGFWv not NGFWv (byol)

As said by the aws support, it comes with a license and also aws charge software cost for this product(2.16 $ ec2/hr).
So what license has been installed in this product, even though FMC has evaluation license?

I understand that AWS offer pay per use license per hour basis. But FMC is management to Manage that NGFW.

So the question come here is FMC is onsite or in the cloud (AWS)? Either case FMC Evaluation have full features of all in 90days.

Both FMC and NGFWv is in cloud. Can you tell me what license has been included in NGFWv ?

AWS offering this as new Services Pay as go, Since we do not have visibility what Package license they proving.

It would be nice if t this question  as AWS, they are the right direction for you.

When we deployed long ago for one of client, there was no offer like that, BYOL was the only option we had.
