What do I do to remove usbflash safly from cat93L ?

Hi,

I formated my ubsflash as ext3 so I can upgrade cat93L from the ubsflash. But i faced some error when I unpluged the usbflash from the switch as it shown in Part1. Then I wanted to check if there is something wrong happen to the usbflash or the switch so, I got as I wrote down in Part2.

Anywhay to remove the usblash safly from the switch ?

What firmware is that switch running on? 

The error message is not about the USB flash but all about a secure part of the NVRAM where some files are fenced off by the OS.

it is running cat9k_iosxe.17.03.05.SPA.bin.

Reflash everything.  

  1. Make sure the config of the switch is backed up externally.
  2. Re-format the flash using the command "factory-reset all". 
  3. Re-install the firmware using the command "emergency-install usbflash0:firmware_filename.bin". 
  4. Copy the config back again.
