Cat 9300L
Reading another thread because I needed to wipe the switch. They recommended "Factory reset all" well now I have a switch with nothing but
switch:
I've tried to restart to get to romon but nothing seems to affect it
System Bootstrap, Version 17.8.1r[FC2]

Seems switch is in rommon CLI. Try to run reset or boot cmd and check if the switch boots. If not, you have to check if the image exists, using dir cmd. Check ENV using set cmd. If no proper image, pull proper image and try to boot.

So I followed the instructions downloaded the latest MD put in on a usb and installed from there. Now the switch looks normal until I reload. Then it goes back to Switch:
Copied the IOS to flash:0
Currently did the "install add file......" and seeing if that fixes the boot issue

It is not possible to copy anything into the flash/bootflash from ROMMON due to security implementation.

If the switch is in ROMMON, post the complete output to the command "set".
If the switch has boot the firmware, post the complete output to the command "sh romvar".

Hello @drkershner
please do switch:dir flash
And check if there are any/others bin file in order to boot with.
Also, use an usbflashb to boot your Switch. Copy the bin file on it and plug that usb on C9300. After:
copy usbflash0:<image_name>.bin flash:
And boot on that new file.
