Hello,
I have a customer that wants to run posture checks on some of the client VPN connections. This is only required for consultants, where the customer doesn't control the end-user’s client devices.
We had a pilot project last year where we used ISE and the posture agent to check and verify that the client had the latest windows patch and that the Windows firewall is enabled etc. While it kind of worked, the solution got quite complex and there were also some issues with the integration with DUO that the customer use for MFA.
Now the customer is looking for an easier managed solution that can offer the same posture function that ISE can provide.
Does anyone here have experience with both ISE and Secure Access and can provide some insight on how the two solutions compares? I’m aware that Secure Access probably provides other functions than onlyposture, but this is the main concern of my customer. Will it be a bit overkill to set up Secure Access just the use of posture for a few users? Since the customer is also using DUO for MFA, it’s also a requirement that they can integrate the solution with DUO.
Thanks
