Conversation on Online Document Sharing/Storage

We use Cisco Umbrella and currently have a policy that does not allow Online File Sharing/Storage such as Dropbox or Box.com. Umbrella makes blocking these super simple. However, there have been legitimate business use cases where a vendor may need to send a large file or document through one of these services. The one time codes work well for content filtering, but not on application filters. Long story short, it makes this policy hard to manage. I am curious what other businesses are doing in this area. Are you just blocking file sync applications and letting users access online files? Do you have a strict policy and require users to find other ways to get files like email and ftp? Perhaps you just have a tiered blocking approach that allows certain office employees access, but not all users. I am curious what others are doing. It seems more and more companies are using these services to share files.

Hello Garrett,

Currently, there is no option to control a specific option for online meeting applications. It can be either complete application allow or block for configured users in that policy.

Thank you.
