Given that the Cisco AnyConnect Roaming client provides encrypted DNS as well as identity/visibility to allow malicious or inappropriate traffic to be tracked to the source, is there any advantage to having the Umbrella Virtual Appliance for when hybrid workers are in the office? Note that this query relates to an environment where there will be no other types of client other than the roaming client.
Or are there some specific performance advantages to using trusted network detection which might warrant deploying the Virtual Appliance.
