10.6.2 default color of chat history

Hi;

I am using 10.6.2 of jabber and the default font color for chats in history are grey. This makes it very difficult to review past chats I have had.

I communicate with tens of people daily and need to review who said what for whatever reason.

Reviewing with the font in light grey makes it impossible to easily review the chats for me because I have to change my windows background to light grey doe to an eye strain issue. so the history fonts end up being grey an grey.

The previous version allowed my the change the color to what I wanted, however this version seems to have removed that feature.

can it be brought back and has this already been addressed?

I realize that I can cut and past a message into a text editor, but when I have 10's of message and not really sure who had the answer, this means I would have to copy alot of chats into an editor in the hopes of finding what I am looking for.

Hi wschomburg,

I don't think there is a way you can change font color of chat history. However, you can save chat history to Outlook inside a folder. Details please refer to below document:

Basically you need to change your jabber-config.xml file to enable the key EnableSaveChatHistoryToExchange.

Another way is to use SQLite to browse the chat history DB that is stored on your local PC. There is a previous thread discussing this method at the link below:
