You question is pretty wide. Are you able to narrow down what you're asking a bit?
Are you asking about specific products, or all devices in general?
There are many different types of Audio and Video connectors.
If it's for a specific device - the installation guides are usually a good place to start with what goes where and the admin guides often have the pinouts if you need that level of detail.

Hello Anas
have attached cisco PHD camera pics to look at, now some cables are connected to the codec namely {HDMI to HDMI video out goes to your codec for video}.
A camera control IN with RJ45 slot and HDMI out to the codec for IR}
The Ethernet jack RJ45 and daisy chain are options slot
The HD-SDI {high definition - standard definition interface} OUT slot are options for camera on those kind of interfaces between the codec & the camera on video capture.
The power supply and adapter am sure you are aware of that.
pls remember the HDMI to HDMI cable is for audio and video from your codec to the display unit,
so if you must use additional speakers and microphones you will need the following cables :
for sx20 kit you dual stereo ring cable to connect additional speaker and same to connect additional mics.
for c40.... series you need XRL cables to connect additional mics and will need normal AV cables {two pair} to connect additional speakers to the video codec.
hope this will help you ?
