Is there anyway I can call a number in my voice environment and setup call forward to an external number?
I have a remote site with a local voice gateway and a few FXO lines. Through the PLAR configuration, incoming calls ring at an extension (lets say extension 57000) that is configured as shared line in everyone's phones in that site. This way, calls don't even hit the Unity Connection.
Because of severe weather condition going on here quite often, they would like to be able to call a number and setup call forwarding to an external number from this extension 57000. Is there any way to do it without significantly changing the existing call flow? They don't want to use Call Handler unless calls are automatically routed to the extension 57000 without any caller inputs.
The Unity Connection is SIP integrated with CUCM.
