Cisco CP-8831 configuration for Asterisk

So I have inherited an issue that I can't seem to resolve. Yes before you ask I am newer to managing Cisco phones and could use all the help I can get. 

I have a cisco cp-8831 conference phone that I am trying to get configured with our asterisk server. It connects to the tftp server and finds the the cnf.xml file, but will give a status message of "Error verifying config info". I have the SIP8831.9-3-3-5.loads file placed on the server and have the config set to load that firmware. However no matter what I try to adjust it wont get past this. 

Does anyone have an example configuration setup for an 8831?

Also I am getting status messages of "No Trust list installed" and "Error updating Locale". Are these errors that I need to concern myself with?
