Hi,
I recently purchased a used Cisco DX70. I want to do a " complete Adminstrator Factory reset " as it came from the company. It is letting me do an "end user reset" I just want to use it as an android based machine with access to the Google play store. It is possible but only the Adminstrator has permission to do a complete reset. How do I do that?
Thanks
Ghalib

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I have tried this a couple of times.
However it still does not go back to fully Factory reset. Only end user
reset.
Thanks

The reset process above, and as I specified in this thread: Re: DX70 WILL NOT FACTORY RESET - Cisco Community, should work. If it hasn't, it's likely you got the timing incorrect and need to try again.
Please note that the version of Android that is on these old DX70s (assuming it is still on the Android firmware and wasn't updated to the CE code which they shipped with from 2016 onwards), is very old, and many of the applications in the Play Store will no longer work on such an old OS.
Please remember to mark helpful responses and to set your question as answered if appropriate.

Hi Wayne
Thanks for the clarification. I will try it again. Maybe I didn't time it correctly. Will update if it works.
Thanks
Ghalib
