I know, this is probably a stupid question, but if I didn't set the servers up in a subcluster...how can I tell which server is the PUB and which is the SUB?!

Hi Corey,
You can run the command show network cluster on the CLI of the presence server.
It will give you an output in this manner.
10.106.120.196 cups-pub9.xxxx.com cups-pub9 Publisher authenticated
10.106.120.194 pub9.xxxx.com pub9 CUCM-Publisher not authenticated - INITIATOR since Thu Jun 19 16:47:19 2014
10.106.120.195 sub9.xxxx.com sub9 Other authenticated using TCP since Thu Jun 19 13:57:59 2014

Sames as with CUCM, first server is always the PUB

Good Morning Jamie,
I agree that is the case. So here is what is happening. I have two servers in my IM&P subcluster. IMP1 and IMP2. I "thought" the first server of IMP1 was the subscriber. So, I am not going through setting up Expressway C/E. Running through the setup guide for the Expressway C, I go to add the IM&P servers and it asks me to add the Publisher server. I enter the FQDN of what I thought was the Publisher it doesn't work, so I decided I would just try my second IM&P server. It allowed me add the server (see screen shot)
I am confused by this, as I thought IMP1 was the publisher. I was hoping there was a definite way to tell. Do you have any thoughts on this?!
Thanks again!

Perfect, I knew there had to be something that would tell me. Just as I had suspected, the first server is the Pub. Not sure why Expressway cannot see that. I guess that is another hurdle I will have to tackle.
Thanks for the help!!
