Are you using email as userID and default JID scheme in IM&P?

HTH

java

if this helps, please rate

our userID using Principal Name :  joe@company.com

do you have a suggestion to fix this?

thanks in advance,

K

You need to use flexible JID and use directoryURI, otherwise, the default JID is whatever you have for userID + @defaultdomain.com

I see,

do you have video for that ?

or can I modify from "jabber-config.xml"  ?

tks,

K

this work great, but my picture is gone.

No, you need to explain how you had it configured previously.

I followed your docwiki to use "Flexible JID"    and work great.

so now, it show as " joe@abc.com" now in Jabber client.

However there is no picture on my Jabber client now.

I try to make sense of it, what is the cause here?

I do understand that, what I'm asking is how you configured the pictures as there are 3 options.

I did not configure the picture at all, once I finished installing the Jabber and login, it automatically pop up the picture.

but after successfully with Flexible JID , pic disappear.

do you mind post me link for 3 option of picture. I tried to understand the relations why is missing.

tks,

K

You find the videos in my channel, you *might* be using this option if you didn't configure anything
