Cisco Jabber Yellow Triangle

Hey Everyone, we recently upgraded to Jabber 11.7 and it seems now that some of our staff are getting a yellow triangle in the floating dock that says there are error notifications, although there jabber is working fine they seem to be unrelated to how we are using Jabber. This is quite the annoyance for our staff. Is anyone aware of a way to clear these notifications or disable them all together so the triangle goes away?

What is the exact error/warning you're getting??

Thank you for reaching out and lending some assistance Jaime.

I've attached a couple screen shots, the error doesn't appear to be the same for everyone.  Everyone who gets it has the yellow triangle but the Error Notification window may display a different error then the one in the image i've attached.  

There might be a delay or problem during the registration, you would need to pull a PRT and review it for clues on what might be going on.

Figured it out, had to add the following groups to the end user -

  • Standard CTI Enabled
  • Standard CTI Allow Control of All devices
  • Standard CTI Allow Control of Phones supporting Connected Xfer and conf
  • Standard CTI Allow Control of Phones supporting Roleing Mode.  

Then had to associate the user with the DID.

Now there is no error. :)
