If you just want to register your endpoints to the Spark/WebexTeams cloud, then no, you do not need any additional infrastructure, just to open up the required firewall ports (see Network Requirements for Cisco Spark Services). If you want to do some of the more advanced things, then you might want additional infrastructure for Media/Calendar/Directory/etc, but they're not required for the basic functionality.

Hi Cristian,
Most of the documentation for Cisco Spark (re-branded as Cisco WebEx Team) Solution and WebEx Meeting/Training/Support Solutions is available online. But below are some additional details:
1. Cisco Spark M1 = Basic Messaging
2. Cisco Spark M2 = Basic Meeting + M1
3. Cisco Spark M3 = Advanced Meeting + M2
You can find more details about these offers under below URL:
Note: M3 Offer includes Cisco WebEx Meeting Center only. The Cisco WebEx Training Center / Event Center and Support Center are Add-on Services which needs to be purchased separately.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/conferencing/webex-event-center/index.html
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/conferencing/webex-support-center/index.html
If you have on-premise Cisco UC Solution and if you have requirement to integrate on-premise solution with Cisco Spark, then you can utilize Cisco Spark Hybrid Services using Cisco Expressway. The details of different components required for this integration are mentioned in below design guide:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/solutions/PA/overview/12x/hybpa120.html
If you do not have on-premise Cisco UC Solution, then you may not need Cisco Expressway and other components but it all depends on what you requirements are.

Cisco Spark is an app-centric cloud-based service that provides a complete collaboration suite for teams to create, meet, message, call, whiteboard, and share, regardless of whether they're together or apart; in one continuous workstream before, during, and after meetings.
