In Movi app for some Conference room the presence is showing as offline every time and it does not shows busy or available status as well. Is it something should we work in video endpoint configuration or Movi presence. Please find the enclosed snapshot.

Hi Mahesh,

if you have issue with Cisco Jabber Video for TelePresence (Movi) and not with Cisco Jabber then Jabber Video Support forum would be the right place to ask this question.

Hi,

Does your environment have more than one VCS cluster, and are these two endpoints on different clusters?

Do you have the Presence PUA enabled on one VCS cluster in your environment?

And finally what is Default published status for registered endpoints set to in your envionment?

Thanks,

Guy

Hi,

Yes we have couple of VCS in cluster but the endpoints registered to A regions are showing the presence but only in B region its not,

B region Presence PUA is not enabled in VCS

B region Default published status for registered endpoints is Online

and B region Presence Server of Off (Inactive)

Sincerely,

Mahesh Kumar

Hi Mahesh.

The presence of the MCU is quite limited. When you for example only use

h323 it would only use a e164 number or a prefix to register, which does not

have a domain which even prevents the PUA to generate presence.

If you have the conference registered via SIP you should at least be able to see

that the meeting room is green, but it will not change if its busy.

I would recomend to do a feature request for presence handling.
