I'd like to know whether there's a way to tell whether the VCS expressway server is in use or not.

Note: Credentials have been lost, and we require advice on how to find them without logging in to the server.

Resetting Forgotten Passwords Using the Root Account:

1. If you’ve forgotten the password for either an administrator account or the root account, you can reset it via the console.
2. Reboot the VCS (Expressway).
3. As soon as it prompts for a username, enter: pwrec.
4. It will then prompt you for the username you wish to change the password for. Enter: root
