Hi we are struggling to get the productivity tools working in our new VDI environment. The deployment is easy enough but what we are finding is that the tool is unable to remember the users login details after a VDI session is dropped or renewed.
Two things appear or not appear to happen.
1. During login the following RSA certs are not being written to the following directory C:\users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA
Even though access to this address is not blocked.
2. The machine ID is stored in a hkey but in the VDI world the machine ID changes and it looks as though the when the App restarts it checks the machine ID and if it is not the same it halts the login process.
We have packaged the most recent webex desktop app MSI which is version 39.5.6.11 32bit
I have enabled the parameter WBXSSO which should set the following key:
HKLM\Software\6432Node\Prodtools\WBXSSO = 1
In total we have set AUTOOC = 2, WBXSSO = 1 and tailored the site name to https:\\companyname.webex.com
Fundamentally we have a large number of users that we need to deploy the WebEx prod tool and enable auto login when their desktop starts, the same process we have running with Cisco Jabber.
If someone has done this before could you please provide the necessary steps to get this working.
