CTI Control of EM Profile with Jabber for WIndows 11.7

Hi all,

I face following issue. I use Jabber for Windows 11.7 and want to control EM profiles. I add the EM profile at the end user (EM controlled profile and CTI controlled profile), but I am not able to control the profile, until I also add the phone, on which the EM profile is logged in, (as associated device) to the end user.

The user has Standard CTI enabled, Standard CCM end user, CTI xfer and conference rights, because I use 8851 phones.

I use following deployment:

IM and P on prem (11.5)

CUCM (11.5)

Jabber for Windows (11.7)

8851 phones uses 11.5 firmware.

Thanks for your support,

BR
Axel

Hi,

Can you please test the following:

(a). Clear the Jabber cache by deleting the following:

Exit Jabber

Browse to following and delete the following:

C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\

Under Jabber > CSF you have the following folders Contacts, History, Logs, Photo Cache etc

C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\

Delete everything under Jabber folder

(b). Disassociate all the devices and the device profile from the user

(c). Logout from extension mobility

(d). Associate the devices and the user device profile with the user. Make sure you associate it under CTI controlled device profiles.

(e). Make sure you have the following roles:

  • Standard CCM End Users
  • Standard CTI Allow Control of All Devices
  • Standard CTI Allow Control of Phones supporting Connected Xfer and conf
  • Standard CTI Allow Control of Phones supporting Rollover Mode

(f). login to the phone using extension mobility

(g). Login to Jabber client
